Is your student sick? Are you moving? Are you planning a vacation? Please call us so we can support you and your child. Be sure to leave a voicemail with your student’s first and last name and their grade along with the reason for their absence. Please note that you may still receive an automated phone call stating that your student is absent; these calls are sent directly by the District, please allow a day to have your student‘s attendance reflect your call.  At Andersen, our goal is for all students to attend school at least 95% of the time. Student academic achievement is the primary goal of Minneapolis Public Schools. Although learning occurs in various settings, time in class is essential to learning so that students can receive instruction and contribute as members of the learning community. Caregivers are responsible for ensuring children are enrolled and attending school. Please ensure your child is here every day!
